Software Development Manager

Job summary

We're looking for a Software Development Manager to guide a development team working on the Governance Services Portal & iBabs, an impactful platform that supports compliance, integrity, and transparency for global organizations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support a team of 10+ developers in different countries, delivering high-quality software solutions, transforming storyboards and use cases into fully functional applications.
• Handle performance management, reviews & provide constructive feedback, set objectives and help the team grow and succeed.
• Help unblock the development team by providing technical expertise and guidance.
• Translate business needs into smart, secure, cloud-first applications.
• Work closely with product owners to prioritize work and deliver on time.
• Perform code reviews & promote clean code, scalable architecture, and team best practices.
• Ensure great documentation and knowledge sharing for smooth onboarding and collaboration.
• Proactively resolve client issues, prioritizing them and ensure adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Occasionally connect with global teams, including short travel when needed.
• Flag technical debt and areas of improvements, making sure they are properly documented and considered when defining priorities.
• Ensure committed critical business features and product roadmap are delivered on time and with high quality.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience managing a tech team for a minimum of 2 years; handling BAU, performance management & objective settings.
• Solid & recent experience in .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) for at least 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Solid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

The plus of your profile

• Experience with React.js or Angular, mobile development, is a strong plus.
• Experience in iOS development or Android development is a plus.
• Cloud Certification with Azure or AWS.
